MISTER DAPPER (11) made it back-to-back wins when holding on to score narrowly over this track and trip 21 days ago. The form out of that race has been very strong and he drops 18lbs for the rise in grade. He should be close to the speed throughout and looks the one to beat on his current form. HUGE WAVE (6) finished 1.5L off the winner over 7f most recently and is another stepping up in grade and dropping in weight. Purton hops in the saddle now from a favourable alley and he's sure to be strong at the finish. POPE CODY (9) wasn't beaten far last start here 21 days ago when flying home late in the race. Suspect he'll get back from the barrier again, though with some good speed up front he's sure to be storming home once again. MICKLEY (2) got back to form last start when narrowly missing in stronger company. Looks well placed in this event and has claims.
