Verdict

VIRTUS GLORY (5) improved with racing last season, missing by 1.3L at this track and trip before the break. His latest trial was great and Yuen's claim is a big bonus. Has the speed to work across from out wide and with some luck, he'll be hard to hold out. CAVA PIONEER (3) has shown good ability at the trials coming into this, hitting the line nicely over 5f most recently. Poon's been with him the whole way through and he sticks for his debut. Can make an impression right away. ISLAND BUDDY (1) was knocking on the door at the end of last campaign and can sit handy from the inside draw today. Teetan rode him at his last start before the break and should get every chance this time. STUNNING BUNDLE (4) is some niggle off his recent trial but the debut run was great. Worth keeping safe.
