Verdict

PAPAYA BROSE (1) was too good on debut before getting a mile back over 7f and hitting the line strongly before the break. Back to 6f now off a short break and one trial at Happy Valley where he closed off nicely and Moreira sticks from that outing. Can land the knockout blow this time. NAVAS G (4) missed narrowly over this course and distance 21 days ago on debut when sticking on gamely as a $16 chance. Yuen's claim comes in handy and he should be prominent in the run yet again from a good draw. Should be better for the debut run and can get the job done this time. BETTER AND BETTER (10) won two back in narrow fashion before bumping into a good winner last time out, though he was best of the rest. May end up back in the run from the draw, but watch for him flying late in the race. LITTLE MONSTER (11) rates highly on his recent form and can make an impression coming back to this track and trip.
