Verdict

MAX QUE (9) profiles beautifully for a race of this calibre, just missing as the $2.50 favourite at Happy Valley last time out. He has placed in both attempts over the Sha Tin mile, beaten 1L at his last attempt back in November. He carries no weight here however for Badel and he looks the one to beat from a good draw. POCKETING (6) makes his debut in Hong Kong today on the back of a very sharp trial at Happy Valley coming in. Purton was on board there and he sticks with the gelding for his return to the races. He's gone well fresh in the past and he can make a statement. AWESOME FLUKE (3) comes back to the mile today after disappointing over 1 ?m last start at Happy Valley. The inside draw should see him get every chance and he's placed 2/3 at this course and distance. Can feature. SKY HEART (8) comes back in trip today after finishing 0.8L off the winner at Happy Valley last time out. Not to be discounted with the blinkers going on.
