Verdict

MR COOL (2) has tackled the All Weather his past couple, but returns to the Turf here where he holds a good record. He jumped favourite and was beaten 2L in a good form race here 3 starts back. The wide draw is the query, but if Teetan can negotiate the barrier then he'll be very hard to hold out. THE ABSOLUTE (1) drops to C4 today on the back of what looked a plain return over this track and trip. Suspect this scenario has been the target however with the drop in grade as Ferraris has won 2/5 when on board. Expecting him to turn his form around. CALIFORNIA BAY (7) swaps the blinkers for the visors today as Purton remains in the saddle following a 1L defeat over this track and trip last time out. He's drawn much better this time around however and he'll prove tough to get past. CHILL PARTNERS (3) comes through a solid race last time out over 6f and rises in trip now. Looks a gelding on the rise and he can't be discounted.
