CIRCUIT CHAMPION (6) produced a tough effort for fifth fresh up, covering plenty of extra ground from a wide gate. He still finished only just behind the placegetters, and should be fitter for it. With his strong record here, he looks the one to beat, especially from a superior draw. THE RED HARE (2) also had to work early from a wide draw fresh, and he wasn't beaten far. He gets a big swing in his draw, and the pole position gives him the chance to settle much closer this time. Stick with him on an each-way basis. AEROINVINCIBLE (3) showed plenty of speed to lead first-up before being caught late and finishing fourth. He should strip fitter and will take plenty of running down if he can control the tempo. COMPLETE UNKNOWN (7) broke through impressively at his sixth start and looks capable of further improvement this campaign. He cops a wide gate, but is expected to continue to work his way through the grades this season. Keep him very safe in all combos.
