LOVERO (7) is racing in top order, finishing just 2L off the winner last time out over this course and distance. The form out of that race has been strong and now Purton hops in the saddle. Will need some luck in running, but he's good enough to capitalise if the gaps come. THE GOLDEN KNIGHT (14) landed the knockout blow in a photo finish last start, storming over the top from midfield. From 5 starters since, there's been three winners and a placegetter. That reads well for this as he drops 13lbs for the rise in grade and he can continue to work through the grades. CHINA WIN (8) just missed last time out as the $1.70 favourite at Happy Valley. He returns to Sha Tin now, but that shouldn't be an issue judging by his trials and he won't be far away. ENDUED (6) won well last time out and it wouldn't surprise to see him repeat the dose.
