Verdict

GRANNY HAWKINS was a smooth winner over C&D in November and might be able to cope with a rise in the weights if returning from a short break in similar form. Gower Spirit has produced some good efforts since the turn of the year (including here) and is second choice, while Tom Lacey's handicap newcomer Miracles Do Happen would also enter the reckoning if the betting speaks in her favour.
