FOUROFUS (5) got too far out of his ground last time out over a mile, and ran on when the race was all over. He cops another wide gate, but with Amber Riddell back in the saddle, you can expect him to be ridden more positively early on this time. With any luck, he should break through for an overdue win. TRANQUIL EYES (7) ran on late to snatch third after starting from a wide gate on her home track at Timaru just over a month ago. She has won a trial there since then, and with some luck from another wide draw, she can figure in the top 3 again. Each way. WOODLANDS (1) ran on too late here 8 days ago after making a slow start. He was placed in both of his starts to start the season, and with the winkers on, he is worth another chance. BIG EXIT (8) did not have much luck fresh up at Cromwell 3 weeks ago. The blinkers are on, and a much-improved run is on the cards. Each way value. LADY MELL (10) makes her debut and has been given plenty of time to mature. Check the markets.
