HARVEY WALLBANGER (1) beat a small field stylishly on debut here, and his next couple of starts have been in Stakes grade, including his last start second here as the favourite in the Eclipse Stakes a month ago. Hard to beat from a good gate, so follow your money. SINGLETARY (2) ran a bold race here on debut in a good field when finishing runner-up. Opie Bosson steps into the irons, and he has the scope to go one better here. LIGURIA (8) won a trial before finishing a game fourth on debut here just over 5 weeks ago. She will continue to improve with racing and should pick up her first win at short notice. TE ENCUENTRO (6) franked her trial form with an impressive last-to-first win on debut in a strong field here in the same race as the third pick. She will get back again, and if the pace is genuine, then she will be hitting the line hard again. She has plenty more in store and can win again. PARFAIT DIMANCHE (4) has been thereabouts against most of these in her 3 starts to date.
