NORATO (2) returns from a long spell of nearly a year and he ended his last prep with a brace of wins on this course. He resumes at the same level, and has done a lot of work at home to be ready for 1 ³/16m fresh up. On top again. CLASSIC CITY (1) resumes after finishing ninth in the Listed Abu Dhabi Championship over 1 ?m in April 2025. He must have had issues to be away for so long, but he is in a top stable, and should run boldly fresh up. SHEPPERTON LODGE (6) is back after a break, having kicked off his last campaign with a 1 ³/16m win here. He maps to receive a good run early on,, and should be included in all top 4 combos. MINHAD (9) is an interesting import making his first appearance for the I Mohammed stable. He finished fourth over 2m at Newmarket before a 3-month break, and any market confidence would be well worth following.

Bobble/Stumble

A slip or a duck from a horse trying to leave the starting gates, often caused by the surface giving way under the feet. This can range from a mild misstep to a stumble down to their knees.

Claiming Race

A race in which horses are entered for a certain price, or claiming tag, which is also their sales price. An owner can claim any horse entered for the tag before the race begins, and owns them as soon as the gates open.

Trifecta

A wager picking the first, second and third horses in the exact order. A trifecta box means paying more to ensure the horses can finish in any order in the top three spots.
