LA BELLA NERA (1) has been freshened up after some modest efforts this season in tougher fields. She won her only start on this course, and in this company, from a decent draw, she is the one to beat for ours. CHARM MANHATTAN (6) capped off some solid form this prep with a comfortable BM65 win at Riccarton just over 2 weeks ago. He drops 6lbs in a race that is really not much tougher, and he can figure in the top 3 again. ROCHELLO (5) battled on gamely for fifth at Ascot Park 5 days ago and will have no fitness concerns after having 3 runs back from a spell. If this race has not come too soon for her, then she will be hard to hold out. Include in all combos. LISE PAREE (4) has been mixing her form and will have the advantage of a good gate here. Stick with her on an each-way basis. HENRY HUBBER (2) has yet to fire in a couple of starts back from a spell. This field is not strong, and he is ready now to put his best hoof forward.
