GODDESS (6) has been racing in far stronger fields since her last show of form at Ashburton in October. She can secure the run of the race here from the pole position, and a return to form is on the cards. On top. SNOW BRAINER (1) was a narrow winner fresh up on a heavy track at Wingatui before finishing fifth there last time out in a stronger field over 7f. He will relish getting out to a middle-distance third up from a spell, and with the right run, he will be hard to hold out. SAUVAGE (4) did not get into it at Riccarton on a heavy track there nearly 2 weeks ago. His effort for fourth at Ashburton before that is the guide to use, and he is worth another chance. Each way. SAVIOUR (7) had no hope when getting too far back at Ascot Park last Sunday, and that run is best forgotten. He benefits from a 4lbs claim, and over a longer trip for the first time, he can figure in the top 4. VINDICATOR (2) is out of form, but drops in grade from his last start. Include in top 4 combos.
