CHAMPAGNE WALSH (9) showed plenty of fight to score last start over 1 ?/16m at this track, getting home by just a head. Hard to know where he gets from this slightly awkward draw. This is a nice drop in class so he is sure to prove tough to beat again. NASANA (6) was responsible for a far better performance last time out when runner-up over 1 ¹/16m at Riverina Paceway, beaten a neck, after travelling in the leading division and leading for part of the race. Recent efforts are good enough to put her right in the finish. OUR ULTIMATE JANE (5) didn't do a bad job when fourth over 1 ¹/16m at this track last time out. Each-way.
