GROSSO NASO (8) made a nice return at his latest appearance six days ago, finishing 2.8 metres away in third in stronger company at Newcastle. Fitter for that and owns good statistics both at the circuit and the distance. Should enjoy a nice smother from this draw and with even luck has the class to find the winners' list. ILLAWONG DANNY (6) copped a check and broke last start but came from this barrier when winning last month at Newcastle. Proven at this circuit and distance. Can win with his best. ASHLEYS BLUE CHIP (1) was beaten less than 5m when fifth at her most recent appearance at Newcastle and should get a soft run from the ace draw.
