YOGI (1) has led to win the last two times he has attempted this circuit and distance, the most recent coming last week when getting home by more than 5m. Goes up in grade but has the speed to take full advantage of the inside draw. COUNTRY MAJOR (4) has been solid in the last two outings at Newcastle, drawing deep and racing parked last time but fighting on to go under by 4.2m. Will relish returning to this circuit having won the last two times he raced here, the most recent coming last month when he started from a wider draw. KARALTA COURAGE (5) is looming as a threat after placing in two of his last three starts here, both times when drawing on the back row and working. JEREMY LOU (2) has switched yards and won a trial since last seen. Won easily from a back row draw at West Wyalong last month and could measure up from the good draw.
