Verdict

BE GOOD BENNY (8) was down the track last week at Newcastle but did well to place in his previous two outings at that venue. Came from this row to win the last time he raced at this circuit last month so is better placed. COUNTRY MAJOR (1) produced a good performance last start, finishing second at this circuit and distance. This is a little stronger but the ace draw should ensure a cosy run. OTIS RISING (4) hasn't performed to market expectations at the last two outings but had been producing some good efforts prior so is capable of better. REDS GOOD TO GO (9) draws on the second line but will be cherry-ripe after four starts back from a spell and was good when beaten less then 3m here last week.

Two back was well beaten into eighth after showing early speed, behind Our Fire And Delight at this track over 1m in a NR up to 50 on January 8 at $34.
