CHLOBRO (9) took advantage of a good draw for a win at Penrith two starts ago before racing parked but sticking on well for second at his latest appearance at this circuit and distance, beaten 2 metres. Draws for a trail and if he gets the gaps could be hard to stop. Former Queenslander JOANS RISING STAR (7) was good in her first outing for Seaton Grima, racing outside the leader before finishing second at Bathurst. Draws wider but that was her first outing for four weeks so she should have come on. STEALTH BOMBA (2) drew on the second line and was held up late when fourth at his most recent appearance at this circuit and distance. Aided by a good draw this time. ULTIMATE EMPIRE (10) draws on the second line but has some solid recent efforts under his belt.
