HOT DEAL (7) ran sixth last start at this track over 1 5/16m, beaten 12 metres. May need luck at some stage extracting from the inside of the second row but rates a primary contender in this comparable race. MAXY WANTS TO PLAY (9) was out of the money two starts ago then things went wrong last start when he broke and finished a distant ninth over 1 5/16m at Birchip. Beautifully placed and he should turn things around. PRIORITISE (6) last appeared when seventh over 1 ?m at Gunbower three-and-a-half months ago. Expect a better effort to kick off this prep. POWERSOFPERSUASION (4) is in the mix following a respectable third at his first run back over 1 5/16m at this circuit. Strips fitter now.
