ACCELERE (4) was about the mark yet again last start when he led and battled on well but found one better at this circuit and distance. That gave him three placings from as many starts this time in. Race fit now so could break through. MEGAWATTS (7) finished third at her last run just three days ago at Swan Hill, beaten 6 metres. Won over this distance the only time she raced here, Gets a soft run on the inside of the second line and if she gets the gaps can go close. SNEAKY PHILTRA (9) wasn't in the right mood and bombed the start when a beaten favourite last week. Capable of better. SUNSHINE WARRIOR (2) won well here last week and should not have any excuses from the favourable draw.
