Hard to know where he gets from this slightly awkward draw. Meets a comparable field, and he can play a big role. MARIAHS SHADOW (10) finished seventh last start, beaten 40 metres at this track over 1 5/16m. Expecting a very good run. CALF PEN (8) is worth another chance after a last-start eighth over 1 5/16m at this track a week ago. BOSS MAJOR (1) disappointed last time when sixth over 1 ?m at Globe Derby Park. Can do a lot better, so worth considering, especially from the pole position.
