SECRETSANDLIES (7) settled near the pace then drove to the lead and found plenty only to finish a very close third last start over 1m at Port Pirie. Drawn to enjoy a nice run, with luck possibly playing a role at some point. Meets a comparable field and she is a strong winning hope. SWEET ARPEGGIO (1) has had three runs this prep and is yet to finish in the top three. Was again unable to find the frame last start when she finished fourth over 1 ?m at Globe Derby Park, beaten 10 metres. Likely to get all the favours from this nice draw. This is a nice drop in grade so she is sure to prove tough to beat. HEZA STEEL (4) is on the radar after his last-start fifth over 1 ?m at Globe Derby Park three-and-a-half weeks ago. RUMBLE ALONG (5) is worth some thought despite his last-start sixth over 1 m at Victor Harbor on December 29.
