ROCKNROLL ROCKET (3) is a newcomer to the Roy Roots Sr yard from Victoria where he tackled stronger company when last seen. Has had five weeks off but was readied with a trial win and draws well. OTIS RISING (9) is in good form and made it three placings on the trot when he came from this barrier for second at this circuit and distance last week. If things go his way he could break through. SAINT KARAMARA (2) hasn't done a bad job from wider barriers of late and looks better served by this draw. BE GOOD BENNY (6) has been going around at Newcastle of late but was runner-up the last time he raced here.
