BRAVE BONDI (1) has been racing well with a string of top-four finishes and was very good when he finished runner-up in a higher-graded race here last start, beaten just a nose. Looks beautifully placed dropping in grade and should get his chance from the ace draw. TASMANS DELIGHT (5) led and scored at this venue two starts ago before another good showing for third at her latest appearance at this circuit and distance. Draws wider but she is going well. MONTANA NIGHTS (8) may need some luck from this barrier but is a player off a last-start win by 2.8 metres at Dubbo. KATASTROPHEE (6) drops in grade off the last attempt and did manage a placing here three back.
