HILLTOP CRUSADER (4) made a winning return at his latest appearance a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by 1.2 metres over 1 ?m at Globe Derby Park. Taking on a better field but he is fitter and up to the task. HESASTAR (2) finished fifth two starts ago then registered a comfortable victory last start, scoring by 6 metres over 1 ¹/16m at this track. Likely to get all the favours from this nice draw. It doesn't get any easier but he is capable of taking this out. BRUISED EGO (11) was unplaced two starts ago then things went wrong last start when he copped a check and broke, finishing 30 metres away in ninth over 1 5/16m at this circuit. Live chance if he brings his Mitch Manners. SHIREEN (3) is next best and gets every chance from a favourable draw.
