The recent form of CAULONIA COURAGE (1) doesn't leap off the page and he faded as favourite last start but that was in a higher-graded race. Gets the ace draw today so banking on that being enough to trigger his best form. ROMANEE (6) was solid enough when midfield from this barrier in stronger company last time. Hadn't been too far away in his previous outings, placing at this circuit and distance three back. This is the lowest-graded race he has encountered for a while so he could break through. ROCKTAGONAL (9) scored back-to-back wins at Tamworth before a respectable third at his most recent appearance at this circuit and distance. Draws wider but he is going well. BALTUSROL (8) had had little luck since kicking off the campaign with a win and a second at this circuit and distance so may be worth another chance.
