Verdict

STITCHED UP DAN (5) missed narrowly when resuming as a hot favourite but atoned at this circuit and distance last start, leading from a couple of spots wider before going on to score by 3.6 metres. Should be fitter again third up and had plenty of upside. Can go through his grades. SWEET STRIKE (9) worked when parked but stuck on for fifth in a higher-graded race in a Regional Championships qualifier last start at Penrith. May need a bit of luck negotiating a very wide starting position but won well when resuming at this circuit and distance two back and is a gelding on the up. ZEN MASTER (2) progressed off a resuming fourth to finish runner-up at Bankstown eight days ago, beaten 2m. Should be close to his peak now and draws well. ONEHANDONEBOUNCE (4) is an exotic hope having turned in a good effort last start to finish third at this circuit and distance.
