HAS THE COURAGE (1) has come from wider barriers when tackling higher-graded races in his last two outings and wasn't far off the placegetters each time. Better placed in this company and should get his chance from the ace draw. RUDY GEE (5) is a newcomer to the Luke McCarthy yard from Queensland where he was an Albion Park winner four back. Hasn't raced since May but is proven fresh and was readied with a solid trial. MCWIZARD (4) has joined the David Thorn stable since recording a last-start win by 1.4 metres at Melton a month ago. Could measure up. RED REACTOR (7) has been freshened but must be respected after coming from one spot wider when scoring last start by a nose at this circuit and distance.
