Verdict

LIZZIES SON (9) has been taking on higher-graded races of late and there was merit in the latest performance when he led and stuck on for fourth at Shepparton. Draws on the back row but came from there for back-to-back seconds earlier in the campaign. This is winnable. MONTANA MUSCLE (4) led to win the last time she raced here three back and has had little go to plan since, copping a check and breaking in the next outing then tackling stronger company last start. This suits better. COL DU GRANON (6) has been solid of late and missed by just a nose the last time he raced at this venue so is on the radar. THE NIGHT QUEEN (7) draws wider but has claims off a good effort last time out for third at Bendigo.
