RACING WRITER (1) has been coming from wider barriers of late and managed a win at at this circuit and distance three starts back. Should get his chance from the ace draw. BIRDY GAL (7) continued her good form when she won easily at this circuit and distance two runs ago before a midfield finish from this barrier at her latest appearance. Not disgraced last time and is a player with even luck. GYM JUNKY (9) was well fancied and led in his first outing for McCarthy but weakened out. Draws wider but should be fitter so may be worth another chance. VESPA STRIDE (5) is in the mix after finishing third in his last two outings here.
