Verdict

JUST AS I AM (11) cops a tricky draw on the back row but has been very good from wide barriers in two starts so far this campaign, cruising home first-up before sticking on for a last-start second. Kept fresh since but goes well that way and has upside. KYVALLEY JETSTREAM (10) has been competitive of late and kept the ball rolling last time when 1.2 metres from the winner in second at Kilmore. That made it two wins and two seconds from the last five starts. With an ounce of luck from this tricky draw he can make an impact again. BULLAPARK BENO (12) also has an awkward barrier to contend with but did well when fourth in a higher-graded race at Bendigo last time out. JUST ABIT DUSTY (4) won easily two back then gave a sight from this barrier here last time when beaten less than 3m. Can be involved again.
