GAELIC LADY (7) worked to get to the lead and kept finding to salute on debut last time out over 1 m at Terang, getting home by an impressive 25 metres. Will need a bit of luck negotiating a very wide starting position. That latest effort is good enough to take out a race like this. SHINELIKETHESUN (8) finished second when resuming last start despite copping a check and galloping, beaten 6 metres over 1 5/16m at Geelong. Shouldn't spend a penny from this draw and the sprint lane may come in handy. Won't find this any harder and she can take this out. MINNIE MIA (4) is better than her last-start run when finishing seventh over 1m at Geelong would suggest. Worth another chance.. THE TROUT COD (2) broke through last time out over 1 ?m at Melton. Must be included with the confidence up.
