WILL HE PIKE (5) was yet again about the mark last time out when runner-up over 1m at Hobart, beaten 2.75 metres. Meets a comparable field so he is capable of continuing his fine form. MERRYWOOD PAUL (1) produced a better effort last start when third over 1 m at this track, beaten 5.5 metres. Will enjoy a nice run from this favourable starting position. Recent efforts are good enough to put him right in the finish. TAMBROS TILLY (7) is worth plenty of thought off a last-start win by 5.5 metres at this track over 1 ?m. CENTURIAN MISS (3) should not have any excuses from the favourable draw and shouldn't be left out of exotic bets.

A race in which horses are entered for a certain price, or claiming tag, which is also their sales price. An owner can claim any horse entered for the tag before the race begins, and owns them as soon as the gates open.
