STAR MAJOR (7) is in good form with top-five finishes at his last 18 starts, most recently recording a third over 1 ?m at this track. Tactics will be crucial from this wide draw. Meets a similar line up so he can add to the impressive recent efforts. MAGNETIC TERROR (8) returned from a break in very good order last start when successful over 1m at Hobart on 01/11/2025, getting home by 3.5 metres. Is a very effective performer at the second run back. Won't spend a penny from this draw but luck may play a role on the bell lap. Meets a comparable field and he can salute once again. RAKADAN (9) is heading the right way, improving last time out to finish second at Hobart over 1m. Genuine threat. BETTABLACK TIGER (2) is next best and gets every chance from a favourable draw. Well worth an each-way ticket.
