Primary contender if anywhere near his best. MICKEY BE NIMBLE (7) worked to get to the lead and kept finding to salute last start over 1 ¹/16m at Canberra after some strong lead-up form. Interesting to see what unfolds from this wide draw. That latest effort is good enough to take out a race like this. PETES BIG JIM (6) didn't do a bad job when sixth over 1 ¹/16m at Riverina Paceway last time out. Has place claims. TRIED AND TRUSTED (5) is worth some thought after his last-start fourth over 1m at Newcastle on September 14.
