Smart filly SPARKLING SEA (10) cops a wide draw but she races well when second-up and will be fitter for a resuming second against the older mares. She loves this circuit and distance, winning six of her eight attempts, and she is nicely placed back against the fillies. FAKE FRIENDS (3) was struggling with her manners at the end of last campaign but she is capable when right. Yet to miss a place in three fresh attempts and was readied with a trial win. The good draw should see a strong return. STRIPES (6) has won her last three outings in Brisbane, the most recent coming in the QBred Triad Final last month. Beat Sparkling Sea home in both the South East and Queensland Oaks over the winter so could measure up. ONE MORE REASON (4) won from wider here last start and is yet to miss the top-three this time in so respect. DEGARMEA TEALE (8) draws wide but brings consistent from Queensland and is worth including.
