STEAM MACHINE (5) has been racing well of late. Finished second at his latest appearance over 1 ?m at this track, beaten a nose. Finds a nice race and can discover winning form. DARK AND HANDSOME (7) finished second last start over 1 ¹/16m at Mt Gambier, beaten 5 metres, after also filling a minor placing at the previous appearance over 1 ¹/16m at Mt Gambier. Interesting to see what unfolds from this wide draw. Meeting a deeper field this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. GYM JUNKY (4) is in the mix following a respectable second at his most recent appearance over 1 ?m at this track. NEVADA GAMBLER (2) broke last start but still managed to fill a minor placing over 1 ?m at this track, finishing a nose from the winner. That was a pleasing progression after missing the placings the run before. Sure to enjoy an economical run from this draw. Must raise the bar but another big run is on the cards.
