LA BELLA NERA (4) loomed up to win at Cromwell last time out and only peaked on her run late, finishing close up in fourth place. She drops 10lbs in weight here and has been placed in her only start on this course. She goes on top for us. TIKKI (3) just battled on a heavy track at Riccarton in the Stewards Stakes over this trip 4 weeks ago. She will be spot on for this more suitable assignment, and a form reversal is on the cards. RADIANT REACH (8) made a sharp move to lead before the final turn here nearly 3 weeks ago, and fought on gamely for second. She is at her best with some cut in the ground, and she can figure in the top 4 again. THE RADIANT ONE (2) was beaten but not disgraced when finishing eighth in the G3 TAB Mile at Riccarton a month ago over a mile. She will have no trouble dropping back to a sprint, and she can't be taken lightly from a good draw in this. Each way. MOON MONEY (9) resumes from a spell and usually comes to hand quickly.
