SWOOMEE SWAN (13) has strong exposed form in this field, and was a short-priced favourite when finishing third here nearly 3 weeks ago. If she can find a spot close to the pace and near the fence from her wide gate, then she is the one to beat. PERFECT TYCOON (1) is also in form, and this progressive gelding was runner-up for the third time in a row when beaten by a short-head at Wingatui nearly 6 weeks ago. If he doesn't need this run, then he can go one better. WOODLANDS (2) settled handy to the pace and fought on gamely for third at Cromwell just over 2 weeks ago. He will be peaking third up, and another honest effort can be expected. JIKON (6) ran her best race yet when finishing second here last time out. She could already be looking for more ground, but Tina Comignaghi sticks with her, and so do we. ENSIGN JACK (3) dropped his rider at the start here last time out, and his effort for second fresh up at Riverton before that is the guide to use. Go again.
