SW AL MOHIB (9) will find this a little easier than his second on debut three-and-a-half weeks ago, at the end of 1m at Abu Dhabi. Will benefit from that experience, so he shouldn't be a maiden for long. AF MAKEEN (1) resumes from a spell of nine months and is having his first outing under new trainer K Al Neyadi. Finished fourth at Abu Dhabi over 1m at the opening run last time in work. Ran seventh in a trial at Meydan Dirt recently. One of the genuine hopes in the race. RADIN AW (7) is a three-start maiden who returned last time and finished fourth at Abu Dhabi over 1m, beaten 6 lengths. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come. MUTAMASIK (6) finished second last start at the first run back from a spell over 1 ?m at this track, beaten by less than a length. In the right race, and he is a winning hope.

Claiming Race

A race in which horses are entered for a certain price, or claiming tag, which is also their sales price. An owner can claim any horse entered for the tag before the race begins, and owns them as soon as the gates open.

State-Bred

A horse bred in a particular state and thus eligible to race in restricted state-bred races. These can be anything from maiden races to stakes events.

Allowance Race

A race with non-claiming conditions set by the racing secretary. They are meant to be a step down from stakes racing.
