MAINSTAY (3) made the right statement on debut at Scone, winning a Maiden over 4 ½f by just under two lengths after starting as a dominant odds-on favourite. He had trialled well beforehand, including a big Scone trial win, and although this is a quick return to CL1 grade, the manner of that first-up win says he has the scope to handle it. CASSIERE (2) usually races well second-up so can improve on her eighth when resuming at Scone. Include. REAL MCCOY (7) won his maiden last start at Coffs Harbour Maiden over 5f for the new stable.
