ROYAL CHIC (9) solid return in town on a heavy (8) surface when fourth over 6 ¼f at Canterbury in a Super Maiden. Will appreciate the firmer deck from the good draw. Clearly come back well and should prove too good for these. STRASBELLE (12) returns from a lengthy break and fitted with the two trials. Had no luck on debut from the wide gate with a battling sixth over 5f at this track on a heavy (8) surface. Claim helps and can run into the minor money. MISS BUGATTI (5) improving with racing and desperate for a firmer surface. Most recently she whacked away to finish fourth over 6f at Port Macquarie on a heavy (9) track. Place best. LINDA'S PRINCESS (4) trained locally and finds an easier race second-up. Unwanted in betting and ran accordingly first-up when she found the 4 ½f too short when placing seventh at Scone. Placed at provincial level last time in and stays in the mix.
