The feature race on the card, the $105,000 Northern Jewel. I'LLTELLYOUTONIGHT (5) knuckled down strongly to get within a neck of the winner in second last start over 6f at this track. Jokic sticks in the irons and is sure to go well again. EXODAS (3) met with solid support last start over 6 ½f at Townsville when sixth, beaten 2.75 lengths. Has a wide gate to overcome but he can figure in the finish. DON'TDOUBTHELADY (1) was in the placings when 2.1 lengths away from the winner last time at this circuit and gets some weight relief here. Ryan Wiggins who has scored on her three times retains the mount and shapes as one of the leading contenders. THE KOBAY TRAIN (12) got the prize two runs ago but was not as effective last time out when fifth over 6f at this venue, beaten 3.5 lengths. Well placed and can make amends.
