Former Victorian FIVE STAR KING (1) has hit the frame in all three runs since joining the new stable and maps ideally for this contest from gate three. At peak fitness now and should be right there at the business end. BREECHES (5) took advantage of the good draw and led for much of the way last start before being run down in the straight, finishing seventh and beaten 1.4 lengths over 5f at Townsville. Sure to take some catching. BETTY BOOM (7) finished seventh on turf at this track two starts ago. Much better last time though, following up with success on the dirt at Middlemount over 5f three-and-a-half weeks ago. In winning form and worth including among the place chances.
