BALKAN MELODY (8) has hit the top-five in all six starts to date and this is not an overly strong affair. Looks to be working up to a maiden victory and should be right there when the whips are cracking. BESTOV (6) missed the placings two runs back then was always well out of her ground last start when 7 lengths away in seventh over 6f at Emerald. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is right in contention. MO SPIRIT (4) will be cherry-ripe now fourth run back and gets some weight relief with the 3lbs claim. Top-three credentials. SAILING SOLO (5) could only manage to finish eighth, beaten 5.5 lengths, at his latest appearance over 7f at Rockhampton after he gave away a big start. Among the top-three chances in what looks a nice race for him.
