ODEGAARD (3) didn't do a bad job when second last start over 7 ¼f at Home Hill, beaten a long neck. That followed a win at Emerald the start prior. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is worth serious consideration. CAPO STRADA (1) registered a strong win at Rockhampton two runs ago. Fair effort last time out when third over 6f there, beaten 1.75 lengths. Has his share of talent and is hard to beat in this suitable race. RAETIHI (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6 ¼f at Cairns, beaten 2.25 lengths into seventh. Rock-hard fit and capable of featuring prominently. LADY TOWNSON (5) usually races well second-up so can improve on her fifth when resuming at Rockhampton. Worth plenty of thought.
