LUCKY LASS (8) did a great job to score by a head over this course and distance last start to maintain her good form of late. Suitably placed in this contest so anticipating another big run. MELO MELO KAVA (11) has registered two minor placings from three runs this campaign. Continued the trend at the most recent appearance when runner-up over 5f at Townsville. Must be included on the strength of that form. QUARRY MAN (9) was a gutsy winner two back then finished fourth over 5 ½f at Rockhampton on May 5. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset and his best form puts him right in this. LA PETITE MAISON (1) went forward and gave a great sight when third over 5f at Townsville last time out. Strong record with Sean Cormack in the irons, including a win and a placing from just three steers. One of the better hopes.
