Verdict

CHIEF OF STAFF (8) has to be strongly considered coming off an excellent victory at Port Macquarie. He got way back in the field two weeks ago and rounded them up late. He was in the betting so it was expected but he still had to do it. LUDIK (7) had not won for a while but he put the nose down when it counted at Ipswich. Goes well for today's rider and just wants enough speed on. DARK CHILL (6) comes off a slight freshen up. He does need to find the post again but is never that far away. BOLD HOI HO (1) was beaten far too far in Brisbane than normal so ignore that. His two goes beforehand were very acceptable. FIVE RINGS (5) stepped up in trip and went so much better. He will be fitter again.
