I AM MERIDA (2) had very genuine excuses with cardiac arrhythmia on the Gold Coast. She has since trialled confidently twice and now comes back to a more local playground. Has to be the one if right on the day. PARTING THE SEAS (3) showed nice improvement second up at Casino. He came from a long way off them there. The extra ground has to be a positive surely. TSUKAHARA (6) brings in multiple trials before going to the races. Bred to be fast and has the big stable behind her. Again the betting will tell. SUNNY SIDE STREET (5) closed off well enough on debut to suggest she can win races. She can't afford to give away a big start but a soft draw helps. DELLUCY (8) has not been that far away all campaign.
