GOODONYA AUSBRED (3) clearly brings the best form to this race. In the money at his first two race starts, both on heavy tracks, then struggled on a firmer surface at Grafton during the carnival. Meets a weak field today and should relish getting the toe in again. Debutante FRENCH MELODY (7) from the Matthew Dunn yard could be the danger. Hasn't been all that far away in her two most recent trials. Seems to have enough talent to make her mark against this lot. BANG ITS ON (1) has been easily accounted for in two runs this time in work. Might be worth one more chance with winkers going on for the first time. PRESTIGE EXOTIC (9) is a first starter by Cosmic Force from a Commands mare who has produced six individual winners from as many foals to race. Trials have been okay - keep an eye on the betting. PACIFIC REEL (5) handles the going and is in the mix despite a 45-day break between runs.
