ZAMBEZI BLONDE (2) didn't miss a beat when narrowly beaten at Hobart first up. Was sent out at long odds following in the rich 2YO Classic this track/trip, but ran above expectations, beaten only 0.8 lengths. Draws inside and keeps the handy 4lbs claim. He should have them covered. ROYAL HILL (1) resumes and is proven fresh. Has switched from a Victorian yard and won a recent Devonport trial by a space. Will likely push forward from the awkward barrier and expect him to go well. RUSHONOVA (5) was heavily backed winning her Maiden here easily. Has the gate speed to clear the sticky gate and will get her chance to repeat with Byrne Burke on. GEEGEES DOWNPOUR (3) was back on track when finding one better this track/trip. Has the inside barrier and presents on a 9-day return. He deserves consideration.
