DEER POWER (1) had to work hard to find the front off a wide gate when making his debut just over 7 weeks ago on the Devonport synthetic, and that early burn told late when he weakened to finish eighth. He had looked good winning a brace of trials before that, and he can make amends. Follow your money. OFFICE AWARD (3) caught the eye with a tidy late finish for fifth when making his debut here 2 weeks ago, and if this trip is not already too short for him, then he can figure in the top 3. SH'BOURNE TOP GUN (4) did not quite round off his run on debut in the same race as the second pick after getting back along the rails. He can stay well out of trouble here from a wide gate, and it would be no surprise to see him in the finish here. BEWICKED (6) battled away along the inner here in a similar race fresh up, and he should improve sharply second up. Stick with him. SPIRIT OF COCO (10) won the latest of 2 trials this season, and she will be ready to rumble on debut.
