WOUNDED EAGLE (5) is first-up following an 18-week spell. Showed ability in the maiden campaign, the peak run coming on debut when runner-up over this distance at Hobart. Will no doubt have furnished over the break and better things might be in store this prep. OLINDAH (13) is another returning from a break. Tackled some rich juvenile races in her first prep and wasn't up to that level. Trialling in great style and this looks a far better platform to launch the new campaign. MISS STRAT (9) settled well back and only warmed to the task late when resuming over 5 ½f at this track last time out. Has raced just once over today's trip and was beaten a long neck at Hobart. Big chance in this far more suitable contest. THE RED SHE DEVIL (11) worked through the line in good style to grab fourth when fresh from a break over 5 ½f here recently. Lightly raced mare who is well in after the claim. EFFRONTERY (7) can improve after a satisfactory return here 23 days ago.
