JADE TREES (8) earns top billing after a strong BM66 third at the Beaumont, beaten just over a length, and the prior Class 3 win at Grafton adds further substance. Grady Spokes has an outstanding record on him and the weight relief strengthens the case. CREATIVE RIGHTEOUS (3) is the clear danger, having placed at Taree last start after a solid Quality run at Port Macquarie when beaten only two and a half lengths at big odds. His recent-season figures are the best in the race. KING OF DRAGONS (9) was below market expectations at Canberra, but the check at 5 ½f gives him a legitimate excuse and his Canterbury BM72 third reads well for this. BOLD HOI HO (6) must rebound from a heavy Eagle Farm defeat, yet he gets class relief, weight relief and has enough 7 ¼f substance to be dangerous if he finds his Port Macquarie form.
