Leaver has an awkward gate to manage today, but the colt is on an upward spiral and can deliver the hat-trick with average luck. PAPPA BLUE (8) draws one gate outside the above but also has the talent to take this out. Won here this grade comfortably over 7f and then found the Group 3 Carbine Club stakes at Randwick a bit of a stretch. Just needs a good ride to threaten. INSPIRED LEGEND (11) is proven second-up and the longer journey suits. Has more to give with plenty of scope for improvement. Will get every chance from the handy barrier. WILD THOUGHTS (7) has been racing in stronger and was only beaten 1L from the back at Rosehill the start before last. Improved his numbers at Newcastle after and has the inside gate and 7lbs claim. Keep well onside. AUDENZIA (2) finished ahead on the above at Newcastle and missed a whisker here prior. In the mix as well.
