Verdict

ZEALOUSLY (3) sent to Melbourne second-up when jumped in grade for a tough on-speed third in the G2 Caulfield Sprint over 5f. Further improved heading into this and can take control early from the gate. Hard to stop. DRAGONSTONE (1) ran second here last year, and Pride looks to have him back on track after finishing a close-up sixth with the 136lbs behind Estadio Mestalla over 5 ½f at Randwick. Winning rider goes back on and not to be underestimated. SUNRISE (8) nice mare who deserves her chance at this level. Trained on the track and bounced off the slight set-back with a hard-fought win over this journey at Randwick. Has further upside and no excuses from the low draw. BARBER (2) underrated gelding who resumes with the two soft trials. Winning rider hops aboard and can pounce late if the overdo it up front. CATCH THE GLORY (4) good fresh mare who can surprise at this level. Can go on with it this time in and the two trials looked strong. Respect.
